The Russia based company RovBuilder is the Major producer of underwater observation vehicles that are sold and deployed worldwide. We produce series and special ordered remote operated vehicles (ROV).

The first ROV model build in series of this class was build under leadership of the Russian scientist , professor and academic Lev Utyakov, who was one of the leaders of the Russian Institute of Oceanography, named after P.P.Shirshov, for many years. Most of our engineers are graduated from the Moscow Institute of Oceanography.

We have been developing and producing ROVs for over 10 years now. With this experience we currently design and build ROVs for the professional market of underwater technology, mainly for underwater exploration, search and rescue and surveying tasks of underwater installations.

Rovbuilder also has a team of professionally trained ROV pilots that we can deploy in your projects with or without rental of our equipment

In our design, we use state of the art technology such as microprocessors and sensitive sensoring equipment combined with intelligent software which can be upgraded with new firmware and functionality, depending on your needs. Our design is extensible with other equipment such as sonar.

Production

RovBuilder produces a series of modern underwater mini ROV designed for observation, inspection, exploration or search & rescue missions. There is a whole range of different configurations available with

cable (tether) ranging from 150 up to 600 meters.

The main differences between the different models are the configuration of the thruster power and cable length.

Models currently available :

Rovbuilder Mini 150 - depth Range is about 50 - 70 meters, cable length of 150 meters

Rovbuilder Mini 300 - depth range of 100 - 150 meters, cable length 300 meters.

Rovbuilder Mini 600 - depth range up to 150 meters, double thruster configuration for operation in stronger currents, cable length 300 meters

All Rovbuilder models are operated with an easy to use digital joystick from the console box. The console is build in a professional Pelican case and contains all electronics for the remote control, power

supply and video processing including video text overlay.
